A call for input from the community and for volunteers to join the Hub @ Banks – Volunteers’ charity

The volunteers’ charity at The Hub was formed to expand community activities for
charitable purposes to serve the community of Banks and surrounding areas.

THE LUNCH CLUB

We set up a monthly Lunch Club to provide nutritious food and promote friendship.
The lunch club is provided on the second Tuesday of each month, providing a two-
course meal for £10.

Ring or call in to the reception to book your place by the
previous Friday ahead of the lunch. Please join us.

NEXT LUNCH CLUB – MARCH 10TH

COMMUNITY GARDEN

We are looking to recruit both experienced and budding gardeners who have time to
help with our community garden project.

Plans for The Future…

The Hub has established a community café bar and has obtained grants to develop a community garden and a new play area for children.

We are looking for ideas from our local community to help us make the best use of our facilities through voluntary roles, to involve local groups, and to help us meet any unmet needs within the community.

We would welcome people with time to give, to join us – you may wish to
get involved in planning our community garden and our developing projects, or you
may have practical skills to help us improve or maintain the building for local use.

If you’re interested in volunteering, then please contact us:

email: volunteers@thehubatbanks.co.uk
or telephone: 01704 651 622 to leave your details.
