A call for input from the community and for volunteers to join the Hub @ Banks – Volunteers’ charity

The volunteers’ group at The Hub, is a registered charity, formed to expand community activities for charitable purposes to serve the community of Banks and surrounding areas.

THE LUNCH CLUB

We have set up a monthly Lunch Club to provide nutritious food and to promote friendship, these are some of the photos from our September Afternoon Tea…

NEXT LUNCH CLUB – OCTOBER 14th

Plans for the future…

The Hub has established a community café bar and has obtained grants to develop a community garden and a new play area for children.

We are looking for ideas from our local community to help us make the best use of our facilities through voluntary roles, to involve local groups, and to help us meet any unmet needs within the community.

In addition, we would welcome people with time to give, to join us – you may wish to get involved in planning our community garden and our developing projects, or you may have practical skills to help us improve or maintain the building for local use.

If you’re interested in volunteering, then please contact us:

  • via email:            volunteers@thehubatbanks.co.uk
  • in person:           The Hub @ Banks, Greaves Hall Avenue, Banks, Southport, PR9 8BL
  • or telephone:     01704 651 622 to leave your details.

Voluntary help is greatly appreciated and will assist in keeping the Hub running for the whole community to enjoy.

Thank you.
